For low- to medium-traffic areas — bedrooms, bedsides, entryways, bathrooms, layered over a larger neutral rug — yes. Cotton-linen blend has the soft hand of natural fibre and breathes well, but it is less abrasion-resistant than wool or jute. Avoid placing it in high-traffic kitchen runs or under heavy rolling furniture if you want the tassels and weave to age slowly.

The tassels are securely knotted into the warp, so they do not shed. Light combing with your fingers or a soft brush after vacuuming keeps them straight. If they get tangled — which happens with new rugs in the first weeks — finger-comb them flat rather than pulling.

The base size is 60 × 90 cm with 15 variant sizes available. As a general guide: 60 × 90 cm fits a bedside, entryway, or bathroom; 80 × 150 cm anchors a single armchair; 120 × 180 cm sits in front of a small sofa with the front legs on the rug. For a fully under-sofa look, scale up further.

It is woven with a non-slip backing, so for most use over wood, tile or laminate it stays put. We recommend adding a thin breathable rug pad if you place it on smooth-polished surfaces, in a doorway, or any area where a slipping rug would be a hazard.

Vacuum on a low setting weekly — without a rotating beater bar — to keep the tassels intact. Spot-clean spills with a damp cloth and mild soap; do not soak. We recommend hand washing in cool water with mild detergent and air-drying flat, rather than machine washing, to protect the tassels and prevent shrinkage.

It is designed for boho, Scandinavian, Japandi and modern-coastal interiors. Best at a bedside, beside a reading chair, in a sunroom, or as a layering rug over a larger neutral base. We do not recommend kitchens or hallways with shoes-on traffic, where the linen-cotton blend will wear faster than synthetic alternatives.

Each rug is woven to order in a small artisan batch — total delivery is 25–40 days by sea freight to our EU hub plus 2–5 days last-mile in Latvia and the EU. Returns are accepted within 30 days if the rug arrives damaged or the size is wrong, in original unwashed condition.
