Handmade Natural Rattan Tea Table – MADLENA
About this product
The Handmade Natural Rattan Tea Table – MADLENA brings organic texture and functional utility to your home. Handcrafted from 100% natural rattan, this lightweight accent piece features a durable, frame-based structure that you can easily move. The 45 x 45 cm surface provides a stable base for cups, books, and lamps in a living room or on a covered balcony.
Designed with a minimalist Japandi aesthetic, this natural wicker side table relies on traditional weaving techniques to secure the fibers over a sturdy core. Because artisans use raw, sustainable plant materials, each table features subtle variations in shade and texture. This compact piece functions as a low coffee table, a bedroom nightstand, an entryway accent, or a plant stand. It arrives fully assembled.
To preserve the natural fibers, wipe the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth and protect it from standing water.

Caring for rattan and wicker
Rattan and wicker pieces bring natural texture to your home. While durable, they are susceptible to damage from excessive moisture and prolonged direct sunlight, which can lead to brittleness or discolouration.
How to clean rattan and wicker?
Gently dust your items regularly with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth dipped in a solution of mild washing-up liquid and water. Rinse by wiping with a clean, damp cloth, then allow the item to air dry completely away from direct heat. Avoid soaking or using abrasive cleaners.
Can I repair minor damage?
For small breaks or loose strands, apply a small amount of wood glue to the affected area. Press the pieces together firmly and hold with masking tape or a small clamp until the glue is fully dry. For significant structural damage or extensive weaving repairs, it is often best to consult a professional restorer.
How to restore shine to rattan and wicker?
To prevent dryness and restore a natural lustre, periodically wipe your clean rattan or wicker item with a soft cloth lightly dampened with linseed oil or a natural furniture polish. Apply sparingly and buff gently to avoid a sticky residue. This helps to nourish the fibres and maintain flexibility.
What harms rattan and wicker?
The primary threats to rattan and wicker are excessive moisture, which can cause mildew and weakening, and direct sunlight, which leads to fading and brittleness. Avoid placing items in consistently damp areas or in direct sunbeams. Protect surfaces from spills and wipe them immediately to prevent water damage.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping is free worldwide on most orders. Orders are prepared within one to three days, and most arrive 9 to 18 days after you order.
Large and heavy pieces, such as furniture, can carry a delivery charge because they ship as freight rather than as a parcel. Any charge is calculated from your address and shown at checkout before you pay, so nothing is added afterwards.
Every piece is checked before it leaves the workshop, and every order is sent with tracking so you can follow it to your door.
