For a fully exposed terrace, store it indoors during winter and rainy spells to protect the weave from drying out and cracking.

Wipe weekly with a soft dry brush or vacuum on a low setting to keep dust out of the weave. For sticky marks, use a barely-damp cloth with mild soap, then dry immediately — never soak the rattan. Once a year, a light coating of furniture wax will keep the natural rattan supple and prevent micro-cracks.
