It is made from rattan. Because it is worked by hand from a natural material, grain, tone and weave vary slightly from piece to piece, so the one you receive will not be identical to the photograph.

How do you clean and care for rattan?

Dust with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment, working along the weave rather than across it, then wipe with a cloth wrung out in mild soapy water. Never soak the weave. Keep rattan out of direct sunlight, which fades it, and away from radiators, which dry the fibres and make them brittle.
