Match the shade diameter to your table width: a 90–110 cm round table reads best with the 30 or 40 cm shade, a 120–150 cm rectangular table sits well under the 50 cm, and longer tables (180 cm+) benefit from the 60 or 80 cm. As a rule, the shade diameter should be roughly one-half to two-thirds of the narrowest table dimension.

Hang the bottom of the shade 75–90 cm above the table surface for a standard 240 cm ceiling. Drop it slightly lower (70–75 cm) for intimate dining or higher (90–100 cm) for tall ceilings. The cord on this lamp is adjustable, so you can dial in the exact drop after installation.

The lamp takes a single E27-base bulb (not included) and accepts 90–260 V AC. The fixture itself is non-dimmable, but you can install a dimmable smart E27 bulb (such as Philips Hue or IKEA Tradfri) and control brightness from your phone or voice assistant — the lamp simply provides power.

Yes. The shade is hand-woven over an iron frame, so the structure is metal — the wicker is the visible surface. It carries CCC, CE and RoHS certifications and a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects. We recommend keeping it at least 75 cm above the cooking surface and using an LED bulb to limit heat exposure.

Shipping is 25–40 days because we move stock by sea freight from the artisan workshop to our EU hub, then 2–5 days last-mile within Latvia and the EU. We accept returns within 30 days if the lamp arrives damaged or the size does not work in your space.
